LIFE LATELY [03.06.24]
I’m sharing a little Life Lately. It’s a little of what we are doing, what we are eating, what we are wearing and a little bit of whatever else is on my mind all in one post.
The snow is finally starting to melt in the backyard, but we have gotten in a few more backyard snow days. The boys love getting all their snow gear on and just jumping in!
On President’s Day we had an unusually BEAUTIFUL day so The Herd loaded up all 800 kids and we took over a park. It was amazing and now has us all itching for Spring days.
And then the bottom fell out and ALL FOUR of us got the flu. When I say we were sick, we were SICK. The hard part was it didn’t hit all of us at the same time, it was the slow trickle of flus. Thankfully we are all on the mend now. We all had a designated couch chair and watched approximately 3,000 movies and were just together in misery 🤣.
Since being so sick, we have done lots of VERY easy sheet pan meals. I’m going to have this new recipe up on the blog soon!
Ramen noodles though. They just hit different when you’re sick. Ramen is my absolutely go-to when I’m sick and it did not dissappoint.
Life the last few weeks has been PAJAMAS and cozies! I went to do laundry after coming out of the flu and all of our baskets were just pajamas. The boys LOVE their Little Sleepies pajamas, they are bamboo and so soft.
I love these wide leg yoga pants and have worn them on wash and repeat the last two weeks. They are just cozy, comfortable and a great staple to have.
This week last year, we were just living life. I love looking back at the big moments, but I think it’s so important to look back at the little day-to-day moments too.
This week last year was filled with dinner at a new restaurant, winter sowing, homeschooling, dentist appointments and play dates. The big memories are always fun to have but it’s the day to day moments that make our family what it is and I just love that.
I’ve said this so many times, but finding your community is VITAL. The Lord did not create us to live our lives isolated. It can be scary to step out and to be vulnerable, but the reward is so, so sweet!
There are a few organizations that connect moms and I would encourage you to check them out.
Here’s what’s in my cart this week!
We LOVE Canine Chews. They are a great family company, made in North America and our dogs really love these bones, chews, sticks, rawhides, etc., over any other brand.
I left our LickiMat outside and some mischievous puppies tore it up, so I grabbed a replacement!
I’ve been looking for a new Prayer Journal and found this one. I just ordered it so I haven’t gotten to use it yet, but it’s beautiful and seems very functional.
You know I love my Kevin Murphy Shampoo! This shampoo saved my hair after I had Covid and it started falling out. It’s a game changer!
