SUMMER BEAUTY MUST HAVES
Summertime, for me, means a much simpler beauty routine. I wanted to share a few of my favorite hair and beauty products that I use on a regular basis. Anything I share, I’ve used for at least a month or two because I truly want to give you an honest review, but all of these products, except for one, I’ve been using for several years.
This is the newest product in my summer beauty routine. I’ve been using the Tanologist Day Glow Serum for about two months and absolutely love it. It contains hyaluronic acid, so it’s reducing redness and pore size and evening my skin tone while it’s giving me a fresh, dewy glow. Most days we are in the backyard or meeting up with friends for play dates, so I don’t even wear foundation. Just this serum and some mascara!
Speaking of mascara, one of my very favorites, especially for long days outside, is the Tarte Sea Surfer Curl Mascara. Aside from the way it keeps my lashes curled and lifted throughout the day, it is flake proof and smudge proof for up to 12 hours. I never have to worry about panda eyes while I’m enjoying the day with my kids!
Last up for my summer beauty routine are these Coola SPF 30 Tinted Lip Balm. Lip balm is always a must, but I like the sun protection I get with these and a little color on the lips never hurt anyone!
If you are wanting that beachy, textured hair then you definitely need this Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray. It gives a light hold like hairspray would, but nothing that feels sticky or heavy. The spray gives a bit of grittiness to the hair, so that you can get that tousled beach hair you’ve always wanted.
I found this product last summer and can’t believe I’ve lived without it for so long! I spray the Coola SPF Scalp and Hair Mist on my hair part every day because a sunburn on your part is just the worst. I even went a step further, once I learned how great this product is, and ordered a second one to keep in my bag to spray on my boys hair anytime we are adventuring outside (parks, zoo, pool, etc.). My boys have light and fine hair, so this has been a GAME CHANGER!
