LIFE LATELY [10.25.23]
I’m sharing a little Life Lately. It’s a little of what we are doing, what we are eating, what we are wearing and a little bit of whatever else is on my mind all in one post.
The past two weeks have been full of ALL THINGS FALL!
I got to help host a Sip and See for one of my very best friends and the sweet boy they just adopted. I’m convinced that there is nothing more dreamy than a Fall themed baby shower, complete with Apple Cider Punch, Charcuterie and a Baked Potato Bar!
Pumpkin Patch season is also in full swing here in Colorado. We took the boys to one this weekend and had the best time as a family. The one we went to had taken old farm equiptment (cattle trailer, tractors, combines, etc.) and turned them into playgrounds throughout the patch. It was pretty amazing to see what they had created. We all had a blast!
I shared these Low Carb Turkey Meatballs on the blog earlier this week, they are SO good! The boys devoured these Chicken Pillows, which will be part of my monthly meal rotation in the November VIP PASS!
How cute are these pajamas for Halloween? They were a BIG hit with my super hero obsessed boys for movie night this week.
I’m also loving this oversized crewneck sweatshirt. It comes in lots of colors and the length is perfect for leggings or joggers! I already know I’ll be ordering a few other colors.
This week last year, I got to go on a solo girls trip!! I met up with my girlfriends from high school in the Texas Hill Country and we celebrated our 20 year reunion. It was one of the best weekends and I love that I got to spend it with friends I’ve known since 4th grade.
When I got back, it was full throttle pumpkin everything! Korben’s preschool had a field trip to the pumpkin patch and Jack had a pumpkin carving contest. I love this time of year!!
I’ve been reading a new book, Holy Hygge, and it has been rocking my world.
This book has given me a different perspective on God’s design for how to use our homes for gospel community. To see how God designed the home, specifically the table, to meet the physical needs of His people first and then through that, to meet the spiritual needs is amazing. And it is done from the beginning in the garden, to the very end.
If you are someone who hosts people in your home regularly or maybe you want to host people but feel overwhelmed by it, this is a must read.
Here’s what’s in my cart this week!
I LOVE NYX lip sticks. They have amazing staying power without drying out my lips. I wanted to try a few new colors, so I grabbed the Filler Instinct Plumping Lip Color in the color Miami Nights and the Lip Lingerie XXL Matte Liquid Lipstick in the color Flaunt It.
I’m making “adventure backpacks” for the boys for Christmas and grabbed these dinosaur headlamps and minature microscopes for them. They are going to have a blast using these on our farm!
