PRACTICAL PRIME DAY 2022
When I was thinking about how I wanted to share Prime Day with you, I really kept feeling this nudge to stay practical. It’s easy to go through and grab every deal on electronics for you, but I want always want the deals that I share with you to be 1) something I’ve tried and stand behind and 2) for it to be something that would be practical to your life as well.
SO here are the top 10 items that I (or my family) use regularly and absolutely LOVE!
This is definitely the best deal I’ve seen on these all year (even with Black Friday wasn’t as good of a deal). I’ve used these since Jack was in Preschool and now that Korben will be in Preschool in the Fall, I’ve grabbed a few more. It makes packing lunches so much easier, but it also helps kids be able to eat lunch independently and not rely on teachers to open packages.

I swear by these earbuds. They pair quickly and charge wirelessly. I have small ears, so AirPods and other types of earbuds hurt my ears and don’t stay securely. I don’t have any worries about these falling out when I’m working out. I can also easily take calls on them, which is always a plus. The best part is that they are a FRACTION of the cost of AirPods.

A good thermometer is worth it’s weight in gold. With 2 kiddos, I’ve tried lots of different options (the kind you swipe, the in ear, etc.) but this is the one I’ve landed on and love. I specifically like that it’s a no touch thermometer, so when the boys are sick, I’m able to grab their temperature during the night while they sleep without disturbing them.

The Ninja Foodi is one of my my used kitchen appliances. I love that it’s a 2-in-1 (actually an 11-in-1) so I’m able to reduce the amount of storage space needed. This has completely replaced my crockpot and if you are wanting to do a slow cook (like for a roast), it has that feature!

This is definitely my Jack and Korben’s favorite thing in the backyard! Korben has been known to fall asleep on it while swinging and Jack loves to run and jump onto it. They’ve played on it in ALL seasons (it’s really fun in the snow!) and it has held up extremely well, still looks brand new!

I bought some solar lights for our backyard last year and they didn’t last 6 months, so this year, I did a little extra research and found these solar pathway lights. I’ve been VERY impressed with how much light they put out and how long the light lasts (about 12 hours). They were very easy to assemble and seem to charge fairly quickly. It’s nice to have the ambiance in the backyard at night with a glass of wine in hand after the kids go to bed.

AUTOMATIC BUBBLE BLOWER
I could probably go on vacation with all the money I’ve spent on bubble blowers over the past few years. This one is a WINNER! It comes with a plug, so you can use it plugged in OR on batteries. Usually in our backyard I keep it plugged in, but if we take it to the park it’s nice to have the battery option. It also holds a good amount of bubbles, so I don’t have to fill it up every 5 minutes.

These have been a GREAT investment. I got one for Jack a few years ago and then this year when we started our Friday Movie Night tradition, I got one for Korben. Thankfully they had a matching one, so there’s no fighting! I grabbed a bunch of pillows from Costco when they were on sale to stuff the cover and it’s definitely my kiddos favorite way to lounge and watch a movie.

This is one of those super random purchases that has turned out to be one of my absolute favorites! You can turn any large beverage bottle (milk, water, apple juice, etc.) into an automatic dispenser. The dispenser runs on 2 AAA batteries. It’s been really great for Jack (6 yo) especially because he is able to refill his apple juice or water on his own!

In January I gave my pantry a total overhaul. I looked all over for the right containers to use. I wanted them to be long enough to cover the enter shelf from front to back (no wasted space), extremely durable, clear and not bulky. After buying (and returning) many many different containers, these are the ones I landed on. They have been perfect for my needs!

I know that this is a bigger splurge item, but I also know a good deal when I see one and the price today is the lowest I’ve EVER seen it. I’m self admittedly a huge ice snob and we absolutely love our nugget ice maker. I used to be known to go to Sonic several times a day, because I loved the ice so much. We have easily payed for our nugget ice maker three times over with the amount I save not going to Sonic multiple times a day. Since getting it my mom and my in-laws have both gotten one too!
