TALK ABOUT IT TUESDAY {FEBRUARY 2022}

New series alert! On the last Tuesday of every month I’ll be doing Talk About It Tuesday. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.

We are supposed to get a major cold snap tonight, like temps in the single digits, so I anticipate we will be having lots of warm soup this week! Two of our very favorites are Cheeseburger Potato Soup and Taco Soup. They can both be made in the pressure cooker/instant pot and are both even better the next day!

Our trip to Breckenridge last year. It was a perfect week of just being together with family. Breckenridge is one of my favorite little ski towns, it seriously looks like a Hallmark Christmas movie.

I am loving my mornings with Korben. I was so lucky to have that uninterrupted, mommy-and-me time with Jack before Korben was born. Now that Jack is in school full time, I get to have it with Korben for the next few years. I’ve noticed that his personality is SO different when big brother isn’t around. Together, they are just wild! They have so much energy and definitely feed off of each other. But when it’s just me and Korben, he is so cuddly and inquisitive. He’s figured out how to play on his own and I love watching his little imagination at work.

Enjoying the moments that we can get outside and soak up some Vitamin D! This weekend was a perfect 50 degrees. Our backyard still has snow in it, so I bundled up the boys and let them play outside as long as they could. It was perfection!

March and April snow. Once March 1 hits, the Texan in me wants to bust out the flip flops, but we usually get the biggest snow dumps in March and April. The pics below are from the last few years during Spring Break when we had crazy amounts of snow!

SPRING!!! I’m loving all of the Spring dresses that are hitting the shelves. I’ve ordered a few for a try on later this week.

Whataburger!!!! If you are from Texas or most places in the South, you know and love Whataburger. It has been 5.5 LONG years living in Colorado without it…..BUT the first one is opening on Wednesday and my best Texas girlfriend and I are loading the 2 year olds up and getting in line!

I absolutely LOVE the Olympics. Summer and Winter I love them both! We’ve been watching the Olympics for the last two weeks pretty much non-stop. I really love how into it Jack has gotten, he pretends to ski and snowboard, even speed skate - we love it all!

We Don’t Talk About Bruno!
Encanto has been on repeat at our house for the past month so I hear the music all day long. It’s fantastic music, so I don’t mind!

Since it’s still winter here (and will be until mid-May), I’m still rocking my favorite joggers and crewneck sweatshirt on repeat!

I hope, nothing! HAHA! Honestly, I love slow, relaxed, nothing on the calendar weekends, which we tend to have more of in the winter months, so I’m soaking them up!

Jack turns 6! He is SO excited because he has never had a birthday AT school before. His preschool was always on Spring Break the week of his birthday, so he is beside himself that he gets to go to school and be celebrated on his actual birthday!! We have a few surprises up our sleeves too.
