TEACHING TUESDAY [05.09.23]
Welcome to Teaching Tuesday! If you are new here, I’m a former teacher, have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am now a homeschool mom. You can read more about that journey here.
Every Tuesday I’m going to share an at home learning idea for preschool and elementary age kids, new curriculum resources and a freebie or two!
Sticker stories are a fun way to practice writing! In a primary journal, I place a sticker in a random place on the page. Then Jack draws a picture around and related to the sticker. After he draws the picture, he writes 3 sentences about the picture. As the child gets older, they can write more. You can also choose the sticker based on a type of writing (informational versus fictional).
