WHATEVER WEDNESDAY {03/22/23}
You made it to Wednesday, my friend! Today is Whatever Wednesday. It’s a little of what we are doing, what we are eating, what we are wearing and a little bit of whatever else is on my mind all in one post.
I’m still getting caught up from our trip to Texas, so I’ve been utilizing freezer meals that are already cooked and just need to be thawed and warmed, to make life easier this week!
My boys love the Big Batch Muffins and I still have a few dozen in the freezer from making them back in February, which has made breakfast super easy! Last night for dinner we had this super easy Baked Tortellini.
Before we went to Texas, I grabbed a few new pairs of sandals because while I won’t get to wear sandals in Colorado for another month or so, my feet were ready for the warmer weather in Texas.
I’ve been eyeing these Sam Edelman Slides for a while and finally pulled the trigger. They are so comfortable and I know I’ll be wearing them all summer long.
I grabbed these slides from Target last week in hopes that they would be comfortable and YES they are! These will be great for running around, playing in the backyard and heading to the pool. They are only $10 and are available in 6 colors, so I may be grabbing a few more!
Last year during this week Korben got to go to the trampoline park for the first time and LOVED it. I also loved it because it was a major energy zapper and he slept like a baby for nap time.
Jack was on Spring Break and wanted to earn some extra money around the house. He got to learn how to spend his own money at the Dollar Tree and came away with quite the loot!
YES!! I loved getting to put my girl aunt powers to use last week with my niece. It was so fun being able to do her hair, paint her nails and just watch her play - which is SO different from how my boys play. Seriously the best job!

I grabbed this small crossbody sling bag for our trip and LOVED it! It has two compartments and easily held everything I needed without feeling bulky.
I also grabbed these High Waist Yoga Pants for the car ride and holy toledo batman!! They are like wearing pajamas. Seriously SO SO SO comfortable. I’ll be wearing these nonstop for the remainder of my life.
