WHATEVER WEDNESDAY {04/26/23}

You made it to Wednesday, my friend! Today is Whatever Wednesday. It’s a little of what we are doing, what we are eating, what we are wearing and a little bit of whatever else is on my mind all in one post.

I tried out a new recipe [Skillet Barbecue Cornbread] that will be coming to the blog soon and made another round of my Big Batch Muffins last weekend. The boys love these for breakfast and they are a great snack too!

We went from beautiful Spring weather to cold and snow again so my wardrobe definitely reflects that! I love this Walmart Time and True Dress. It comes in 8 colors so I already know I’ll be grabbing a few more!

I LOVE my cozy Monogrammed Fuzzy Slippers from Marleylilly. They are comfortable and not too warm - just the right amount of cozy! These make GREAT Mother’s Day or Graduation gifts and they are 30% off right now!!

Last year during this week we were DEEP in swim lessons. Although he’s smiling in this picture, Korben literally cried every lesson from April through August. I’m hoping that this year is better!

Our mom’s group took all of the kids to the Denver Aquarium and I can 100% say it was one of the most fun days! We went through the whole aquarium and then had lunch at their restaurant, which is also part of the aquarium. The kid’s thought it was seriously amazing to be able to eat and watch the fish at the same time.

Gardening season is upon us. I am continually amazed at the entire gardening process. The intricacies that God put into place to take a tiny seed that sprouts and grows into a plant that can feed a family. Gardening takes alot of faith in the process. You plant a seed and wait to see how it will unfold. I planted 45 seedlings a few weeks ago and while most of them have sprouted and are developing into strong starter plants, a few haven’t done anything. It makes me wonder what was different in that one seed. Even so, I find so much joy coming down to my little seedlings everyday to see their growth. The boys celebrate each and every sprout BIG and at night Korben loves to tell the plants that “it’s time to sleep and grow strong.”

Here’s what’s in my Amazon cart this week!
My Amazon cart has been very empty this week 😂. I’m sure they will send out a search party soon to make sure I’m ok.

I did grab this amazing deal on these building tubes. The boys love anything they can build with so I knew I needed to grab these. This is a picture of the Mars Rover that Jack built with them! I’m actually going to grab a few extras to put up in my gift closet for birthdays for the boys friends. They have a 45% off clippable coupon right now. The price will be reflected when you go to the checkout screen.
