BAKED SANDWICH PINWHEELS
Baked Sandwich Pinwheels are a perfect quick lunch or dinner. They are one of my go-to recipes on busy activity nights because start to finish they take less than 30 minutes. All you need is a roll of crescent dough or pizza dough and your toppings of choice.
There are also SO many variations that you could make, so I’ve listed a few ideas below.
Baked Sandwich Pinwheels Variations
Ham and Cheese
Monte Cristo (Swiss Cheese, Ham and Raspberry Jam)
Mozzarella, Canadian Bacon and Pineapple
Chicken Parmesan (Shredded Chicken, Mozzarella and Pasta Sauce)
Taco Meat, Refried Beans, Cheese
Pepperoni, Mozzarella and Pasta Sauce
Step 1 - Roll out your dough. I used crescent rolls because that’s what I had on hand. I just try to pinch the seams together really well.
Step 2 - Layer your toppings. I used Turkey Breast Lunch Meat and shredded Colby Jack cheese.
Step 3 - Tightly roll your pinwheels. I rolled them horizontally so that I could get more slices.
Step 4 - Slice the pinwheels your desired thickness and place upright on a baking sheet.
Step 5 - Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Disclaimer: I am not a professionally trained chef.
I’m a mama with a busy schedule, who loves cooking shows and has two very, VERY active boys! I enjoy making food that is quick, simple and easy to clean up.
I do not love extremely long recipe posts that share my every thought as I created the dish or that repeat the same thing over and over 🤣.
I’ll leave that to the professionals 😜.
Any recipe I share has been tested by my own family and officially approved with two thumbs up 👍👍!
