LOW CARB CHEESY TURKEY MEATBALLS
Meatballs are often misunderstood as time consuming to make, but I’m here to tell you that you can make healthy, low-carb meatballs for dinner tonight in under 45 minutes!
Your cook time will depend on how large you make the meatballs. Since I was serving this as the main dish, I made them a little bigger and increased my cook time by about 5 minutes. I was still done with dinner in well under 45 minutes!
I love pairing meatballs with mashed potatoes and green beans. You could also pair it with zoodles or a low-carb pasta!

Ingredients
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- Use a cookie scoop to form the meatballs all the same size and arrange the meatballs in the casserole dish.
- Bake your meatballs for 15 to 20 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove the meatballs casserole from the oven and drain the grease.
- Top with marinara sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese and put the meatballs casserole back in the oven. Bake for an additional 5 until the cheese has fully melted.
- Serve with a side of green beans or over zoodles!
Disclaimer: I am not a professionally trained chef.
I’m a mama with a busy schedule, who loves cooking shows and has two very, VERY active boys! I enjoy making food that is quick, simple and easy to clean up.
I do not love extremely long recipe posts that share my every thought as I created the dish or that repeat the same thing over and over 🤣.
I’ll leave that to the professionals 😜.
Any recipe I share has been tested by my own family and officially approved with two thumbs up 👍👍!
