TEACHING TUESDAY [06.27.23]

Welcome to Teaching Tuesday! If you are new here, I’m a former teacher, have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am now a homeschool mom. You can read more about that journey here.

Every Tuesday I’m going to share an at home learning idea for preschool and elementary age kids, new curriculum resources and a freebie or two!

STEM challenges are a great way to help kids to think outside of the box. They can be as simple as giving the child a handful of materials and telling them to make something that flies OR as complex as giving very specific instructions on what materials and how much of each material can be used in order to make something that flies in a forward motion 3 feet carrying a Lego person.

These are GREAT for those “I’m bored” or rainy summer days! This week’s freebie is a set of stem and Lego challenge task cards. Just print and pull out when you need them.

Here are new resources that I’ve been working on this week!
