TEACHING TUESDAY [07.25.23]
Welcome to Teaching Tuesday! If you are new here, I’m a former teacher, have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am now a homeschool mom. You can read more about that journey here.
Every Tuesday I’m going to share an at home learning idea for preschool and elementary age kids, new curriculum resources and a freebie or two!
Have you ever had a garage sale and used the little circle stickers to price your items? Had you ever thought about using them for another purpose? These little stickers are great for practicing letter and number recognition. You don’t even have to have a formal “worksheet” to use them with.
Write the numbers 1-5 repeatedly around a toilet paper or paper towel roll. Choose one number and write it on the dots. Then have the child match the dots to the number on the roll. You can repeat this with letters, numbers, shapes, colors, etc!
