THANKSGIVING COOKIES (+ WHAT I USED)

Thanksgiving is usually known for pumpkin pie and dinner rolls, but custom cookies can earn a spot on the table too, and they make a great holiday offering for your cookie business. Every year I put together gift boxes, cookie bags, and interactive cookies for my clients. Today I'm sharing my Thanksgiving sets, the supplies and packaging I actually use, and a few tips to help you plan a successful holiday season. Grab a coffee and get inspired!

The holiday decorated set is always a big seller because it's perfect for office parties or for setting out after dinner when anyone needs a little extra nibble!

I include 4 simple designs (3 of each) in a color scheme that works across all 4. Keeping designs simple and colors similar lets you make a large batch efficiently. I box these in an 8×8 window box with a fall ribbon. You'll find links to all my cutters, colors, and boxes below.

Suggested price: $25–35 per dozen, depending on your area.

The Bag of Thanks is another big seller every year! Each bag has 6 mini cookies and 1 large cookie. I keep the shapes and colors very similar, which makes it easy to make a lot of them at once. These make GREAT teacher gifts!

I package them in a clear-front paper bag with a bag topper stapled on top. The back of the topper has room to write a note or sign a name, so they're ready to hand out.

Suggested price: $8–$12 per bag, depending on your area.

I always love to create something interactive for kids with each holiday set, and paint-your-own cookies are my favorite! They're easy to make. You just need a simple stencil and a white royal icing base, and you can use the same colors for the paint dots that you used in your decorated box set.

I package each cookie with a paintbrush and a little instruction card. All they need is a little water! I usually offer 4 different stencil designs and sell them individually or as a set of 4.

Suggested price: $4–$6 each or $14–$18 for a set of 4, depending on your area.
