BROWN SUGAR BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN
If you like the taste of sweet and salty, then you are going to LOVE this recipe!
Start by making your seasoning. In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix until combined.
Place your chicken in a baking dish. My chicken breasts were really thick, so I cut 3 chicken breasts in half for this recipe. Use 2/3 of the brown sugar mixture to coat the chicken.
Wrap each piece of chicken with 1-2 slices of bacon. The amount of bacon you use will be determined by the size of the chicken breasts. Try to end the wrap so that the end of the bacon will be under the chicken to prevent unwrapping while cooking.
Top the bacon wrapped chicken with the remaining brown sugar mixture.
Bake in a 375Β° oven for 30-35 minutes or until both the chicken and bacon are cooked through and browned.
Watch carefully for the last 5-10 minutes so that the brown sugar doesnβt burn. Serve with a side of sautΓ©ed green beans and sweet potatoes!
