CHILI LIME FAJITAS

Who doesn’t love fajitas? They might be my love language. I loved making these with the chili=lime twist. It gave them such a unique flavor!

Preheat oven or grill to 425 degrees. Slice steak thinly and place in a large mixing bowl or Ziploc bag. Whisk together lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic and Lawry's chili and lime seasoning. Pour the marinade over the steak slices, mix around until evenly coated and cover. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or up to 24 hours.

Slice bell peppers and onions. In a large mixing bowl season with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder and paprika. Remove steak from fridge and set aside to come to room temperature. Cut 4 pieces of aluminum foil. Portion out the peppers over the 4 aluminum foil pieces. Remove steak from marinade and arrange on top of vegetables. Discard marinade.

Close the foil packs and wrap them tightly around the steak and vegetables. Place in oven or on grill for about 15 minutes or until vegetables are soft and meat reads at least 120 degrees. Remove from oven.

Serve over flour tortillas with sliced avocado, sour cream and cilantro.

Disclaimer: I am not a professionally trained chef.
I’m a mama with a busy schedule, who loves cooking shows and has two very, VERY active boys! I enjoy making food that is quick, simple and easy to clean up.

I do not love extremely long recipe posts that share my every thought as I created the dish or that repeat the same thing over and over 🤣.
I’ll leave that to the professionals 😜.
Any recipe I share has been tested by my own family and officially approved with two thumbs up 👍👍!
