As so many are winding down their summer vacations or maybe making a last minute weekend trip, I hope you reflect on the joys and fun you had making memories this summer. Our summer has been simple, no big trips, just lots of days in the sunshine, playing in the splash pad and making memories!

This month has been busy just watching all of the plants grow! After several weeks of abnormal weather and lower night time temps in June, we finally broke through and once the temps were staying in the 50s at night everything has just taken off!
I love walking the garden each day to see new blooms, new growth and new vegetables. We still aren’t close to picking yet, but I think by the end of August we will have a pretty good harvest.
We also started looking for land this month! We are so excited for what the future looks like and the beginnings of our forever homestead.
