Happy almost-October! I’ve been switching from Fall clothes in the morning to summer clothes in the afternoon because the weather cannot figure itself out. We haven’t even had a snow yet, which is crazy!

Canning season is in full swing and I have been busy in the kitchen putting away all things tomatoes, peaches and apples! I’ve canned peach pie filling and peach lemonade concentrate, pasta sauce, pizza sauce and diced tomatoes, apple pie filling, apple sauce and apple cider!
I’ve been practicing my artisan bread making and get a little better each time! This has become my go to for gifts - who doesn’t love homemade bread and jam?!
You might remember me saying that we have been looking for land to build our forever homestead on. Well, we are under contract on an incredible piece of land with an amazing view of Pike’s Peak! I’m already loving watching the boys explore and can’t wait to see what we build here!
