MAY REWIND {2023}
I’m officially declaring summer as my favorite (although I also have an intense love for Fall and the holidays 😂). Being outside in the backyard, pushing the kids on the swing set, hands in the dirt and soaking in ever ounce of vitamin D I can, is just so good for my soul.

What a rollercoaster May has been! We’ve had gorgeous sunshine days and frigid snow days. They say that you shouldn’t plant outside until after Mother’s Day in Colorado. This year it was even a week after that.
We’ve power washed and water-sealed our fence. Hung up our rain gutter planters and planted out most of our vegetables. The day after I got all of my tomatoes and peppers planted, we had a crazy hail storm. Thankfully we had about an hour of warning and I was able to get everything covered. I might have looked like the crazy plant lady running around the house grabbing any and every blanket and beach towel I could!
We’ve also enjoyed some really great family nights, just enjoying the nice weather days, watching the kids play.
Today as I was walking the garden, checking on all of my little plants, I saw a flower bud on one of the strawberry plants! I can’t wait to report back at the end of June and show you all the garden progress.
