WEAR IT WEDNESDAY {11.09.22}
Happy Wednesday! I got all of my Christmas decorations up last week and it’s finally getting consistently cold here. I’m here for all the cozy. Here’s a recap of what I’ve been wearing this week!
LIFE LATELY
It has been a hot minute since I put pen to paper, so to speak. To be honest, once we got back into the routine of school and the Fall schedule, I became super overwhelmed and really started struggling with anxiety in a way I hadn’t for several years.
HOMESTEAD LIFE: DRY CANNING FLOUR
Flour is a staple ingredient for many of our kitchens, but like all foods it has an expiration date. I am sharing how my family preserves flour through dry canning.
HOMESTEAD LIFE: PEACH SYRUP
Every year one of the kid’s groups at our church does a fundraiser with Palisade Peaches in CO. They are SO delicious but I always get way too many to eat before they go bad. So this year I decided to try my hand at canning them, making a fruit butter and making peach syrup.
AUGUST REWIND
It’s September, which means it is FALL (and you can’t tell me otherwise)! Bring on the pumpkins and leaves and sweaters and scarves!
TALK ABOUT IT TUESDAY {AUGUST 2022}
On the last Tuesday of every month I’ll be doing Talk About It Tuesday. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
EASY CHICKEN COBB MASON JAR SALAD
Cobb Salads are definitely in my top 3! I like my salad to have bulk to it, not just a pile of lettuce with a few toppings, which is why Cobb Salads are a great option!

Are you ready for Friday Favorites? This is a round up of the five top sellers from my links for the past week.
THE SCHOOL LUNCH SHUFFLE
Are you looking for ways to pack your kids school lunch? If you have ever struggled with what to pack your kids for lunch, this post is for you! I’m going to share some of my tried and true tips, my favorite lunch box essentials, handy printable list and am going to give you a library (that will be updated weekly) with school lunch ideas!
WEAR IT WEDNESDAY {08.17.22}
Happy Wednesday! Here’s a recap of what I’ve been wearing (on repeat) this week! Hint….the Walmart T-Shirt dress has been on repeat the last week and it’s only $10.50!

ASIAN CHICKEN CRUNCH MASON JAR SALAD
I love ordering an Asian salad when we go to a restaurant, so I decided to recreate a very simple version at home. I used the breast meat of a Costco Rotisserie Chicken, this makes it even easier and I can use the dark meat for another meal later in the week.
KIDS IN THE KITCHEN
Jack has been cooking in the kitchen with me since he could sit up. He has always loved watching me cook and by the time he was able to sit up in the Sit-Me-Up seat, he was playing with the whisk and stacking measuring cups.

TALK ABOUT IT TUESDAY {JULY 2022}
On the last Tuesday of every month I’ll be doing Talk About It Tuesday. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.

HOMEMADE SALSA
If you know me well, you know that I’m basically comprised of half salsa. I blame it on my Texas roots!
WEAR IT WEDNESDAY {07.20.22}
Happy Wednesday! When I saw this skirt, I thought, this would be a great skirt to wear with so many different tops. If I was still a teacher, I’d be wearing it nonstop!
TEXAS OUR TEXAS, PART 2
Yesterday I shared about our family time in Texas, which was absolutely wonderful! However, the reason we even went to Texas was for a wedding to a very, very special family friend.
TEXAS OUR TEXAS, PART 1
Last week we drove to Texas because my boys were going to be the ring bearers in a wedding. I’ll share more on that tomorrow! Today I’m sharing the first part of our trip, which included lots of driving and family time.
