I realized the other day that I have now been out of the classroom, almost as long as I was inside the classroom. Teaching is definitely one of those professions that you don’t stop being.

Never in my entire life did I think I would voluntarily purchase caterpillars to watch them grow into butterflies for my children, but alas I did.

I’ve been asked the question, “How’s homeschooling going?” at least once a day. Those closest to me know that even though I have a background in the education world, homeschooling was never on my radar.

I was a teacher in the public education system, in Texas, for 10 years, prior to having Jack and becoming a work-from-home mom.
